Eric Grupp
Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Grupp is Vice President of Business Development for Crissair. He has
responsibility for all of the sales and marketing activities within the
company. Prior to taking over business development in 2013, Eric spent
13 years in the engineering department of Canyon Engineering, which was
acquired by ESCO and merged with Crissair in June of 2013. He gained valuable
experience as a project engineer and went on to lead the department as
the Chief Engineer. Eric initiated and led the development programs of
several complex product lines that have proven to be quite successful
for the company, including solenoid operated shutoff valves, system relief
valves, and priority valves. His role as acting general manager before
and during the acquisition process helped facilitate a smooth merger between
Canyon Engineering and Crissair. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree
in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge,
a Master of Science degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Southern California, and is currently working on an
Executive MBA from Washington State University. He is a licensed Professional
Engineer in the state of California and is an active member of the American
Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
