Attenuators

Crissair’s attenuators are fully sizable and customizable to meet your needs.

An attenuator placed close to the pump will significantly reduce instability, pressure/flow pulsation and noise caused by the frequency ripple generated by the pump. These conditions may lead to fatigue problems and compromise proper function of hydraulic components(valves, actuators, etc.).

The size of the attenuator is based on the size of the pump and the desired attenuation required.

HELMHOLTZ ATTENUATOR (RESONATOR)

Helmholtz Resonators are installed in an hydraulic system to damp-out/decrease harmonic vibrations at a certain frequency range.
